2018-2020

Digital Downloads

In the process of making the Goal Setting Workbook, I re-designed the entire book several times. From 2018 to 2019, I created at least three different iterations of the book, all vastly different from each other in style and typesetting choices.

It felt like a waste to shelve these unused designs completely, so in 2020 I gathered old designs for two of the spreads from the Workbook — Goal Setting and Vision Mapping — and made free worksheets out of them. They’re available here at Totteoki

01 — Smart Goals Worksheet

Here are three of my old designs for the SMART Goals Spread. All artwork, layout, and design is by me!

From this, I created two different designs for worksheets, and made them available as digital downloads.

02 — Vision Map

The Vision Map didn’t need any updating, as the intent behind the design was to provide a breathable space for the user to fill in with their own thoughts and goals. I simply took two old designs and and made them available as worksheets.

The first vision map is separated into quadrants — lifetime goals, five year goals, three year goals, and one year goals. It provides a little more structure to someone who might want to either work from big picture ideas down to the specifics.

The second vision map is more abstract. It gives the user space to write, draw, paste in, color, etc. We recommend in the book to put time and effort into the vision map so that it can be put up somewhere and be a visual reminder of your big picture goals. In the design, there are phrases written around the perimeter that lead the user to be mindful and open-minded in this practice.

I also provided example vision maps that I created (and are not in the final Workbook), as well as an old diagram that Nick created to give people ideas on how to get started. Here are some of the assets that accompanied the worksheets at the time of their release:
